Local Musical Talent Makes Good with the Goo Goo Doll

On January 19, 2014, while local musician Scott Elk was playing at The Wine Loft in Pier Village, John Rzeznik, lead singer from the Goo Goo Dolls, came in and heard Scott perform. Mr. Rzeznik sat with Scott and complimented him on his music, as Scott covers several Goo Goo Dolls songs. They exchanged contact information. Recently at The House of Blues in Atlantic City NJ while John and the Goo Goo Dolls were performing, John invited Scott up on stage to sing with John and the band and sang "Black Balloon".
